45 . Al-Jathiyah (Kneeling Down)

The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:

هَذَا هُدًى...

45: 11. This is (true) Guidance:

...وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مَّن رِّجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ ﴿١١﴾

and for those who reject the Signs of their Lord, is a grievous Penalty of abomination.

- In verse 11, he has flouted and rejected the specific guidance that came to him from the Word of Allah, or from the admonition of a prophet of Allah. His Penalty is a penalty of abomination: he earns unspeakable horror and abomination from all the Righteous, and is an unclean object in the Kingdom of Heaven

Asad’s Version:

45:11 [To pay heed to God's signs and messages:] this is [the meaning of] guidance; on the other hand, 8 for those who are bent on denying the truth of their Sustainer's messages there is grievous suffering in store as an outcome of [their] vileness.'
