7. Sura al-Araf

The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:

إِنَّ وَلِيِّـيَ اللّهُ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ الْكِتَابَ وَهُوَ يَتَوَلَّى الصَّالِحِينَ ﴿١٩٦﴾

7:196. "For my protector is Allah, Who revealed the Book (from time to time), and He will choose and befriend the righteous.

Asad Verily, my protector is God, who has bestowed this divine writ from on high: for it is He who protects the righteous,

Pickthall Lo! my Protecting Friend is Allah who revealeth the Scripture. He befriendeth the righteous.

Transliteration Inna waliyyiyalla_hul lazi nazzalal kita_b(a), wa huwa yatawallas sa_lihin(a).
