6. Sura al-Anam
The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:
ذَلِكَ
أَن لَّمْ يَكُن
رَّبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ
الْقُرَى بِظُلْمٍ
وَأَهْلُهَا
غَافِلُونَ
﴿١٣١﴾
6: 131. (The messengers were sent) thus, for thy Lord would not destroy for their wrongdoing men's habitations whilst their occupants were unwarned.
Asad’s Version:
6: 131 And so it is that your Sustainer would never destroy a community for its wrongdoing so long as its people are still unaware [of the meaning of right and wrong] : for all shall be judged according to their [conscious] deeds – and your Sustainer is not unaware of what they do.

9. Surah At Tawbah
The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:
وَمَا
كَانَ اللّهُ
لِيُضِلَّ
قَوْمًا بَعْدَ
إِذْ هَدَاهُمْ
حَتَّى يُبَيِّنَ
لَهُم مَّا
يَتَّقُونَ...
9: 115. And Allah will not mislead a people after He hath guided them, in order that He may make clear to them what to fear (and avoid) --
C1367. Allah's clear commands are given, so that Believers may not be misled by their human frailty into unbecoming conduct.
... إِنَّ اللّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ ﴿١١٥﴾
for Allah hath knowledge of all things.
[asad] 9: 115 And God would never – after having invited them to His guidance – condemn people for going astray ere He has made [entirely] clear unto them of what they should beware. Verily, God has full knowledge of everything.
[pickthall] 9: 115 It was never God’s that He should send a folk astray after He had guided them until He had made clear unto them what they should avoid. Lo! God is aware of all things.
