34.Surah Saba'

The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:

وَالَّذِينَ سَعَوْا فِي آيَاتِنَا مُعَاجِزِينَ أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِّن رِّجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ ﴿٥﴾

34: 5. But those who strive against Our Signs, to frustrate them -- for such will be a Penalty -- a Punishment most humiliating.

Allah's Plan cannot be frustrated. It is those who work against it, who will be eliminated and destroyed.

Asad’s Version:

(34:5) whereas for those who strive against Our messages, seeking to defeat their purpose, there is grievous suffering in store as an outcome of [their] vileness. 4
