11. Surah Hud, Mecca 52

The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:

فَلَمَّا جَاء أَمْرُنَا نَجَّيْنَا صَالِحًا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَعَهُ...   

11: 66.   When Our Decree issued, We saved Saleh and those who believed with him,

...بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَمِنْ خِزْيِ يَوْمِئِذٍ...

by (special) Grace from Ourselves -- and from the Ignominy of that Day.

...إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الْقَوِيُّ الْعَزِيزُ ﴿٦٦﴾

For thy Lord -- He is the Strong One, and Able to enforce His Will.

Asad ………Verily, your Sustainer alone is powerful, almighty!

Pickthall So, when Our commandment came to pass, We saved Salih, and those who believed with him, by a mercy from Us, from the ignominy of that day. Lo, thy Lord! He is the Strong, the Mighty.

Yuksel So, when Our command came, We saved Saleh and those who acknowledged with him by a mercy from Us against the disgrace of that day. Your Lord is the Powerful, the Noble.

Transliteration Falamma_ ja_'a amruna_ najjaina_ sa_lihaw wallazina a_manu_ ma'ahu_ birahmatim minnu_ wa min khizyi yaumi'iz(in), inna rabbaka huwal qawiyyul 'aziz(u).
