Generally Accepted Translations of the Meaning

Muhammad Asad In the end, We made good unto them Our promise, and We saved them and all whom We willed [to save], and We destroyed those who had wasted their own selves. &#x21E8

M. M. Pickthall Then we fulfilled the promise unto them. So we delivered them and whom We would, and We destroyed the prodigals. &#x21E8

Shakir Then We made Our promise good to them, so We delivered them and those whom We pleased, and We destroyed the extravagant. &#x21E8

Yusuf Ali In the end We fulfilled to them Our Promise, and We saved them and those whom We pleased, but We destroyed those who transgressed beyond bounds. &#x21E8
