11.Surah Hud
The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:
وَيَا
قَوْمِ اعْمَلُواْ
عَلَى مَكَانَتِكُمْ
إِنِّي عَامِلٌ...
11: 93. "And O my people!
do whatever ye can: I will do (my part):
...سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَن يَأْتِيهِ عَذَابٌ يُخْزِيهِ وَمَنْ هُوَ كَاذِبٌ ...
soon will ye know who it is on whom descends the Penalty of ignominy, and who is a liar!
...وَارْتَقِبُواْ إِنِّي مَعَكُمْ رَقِيبٌ ﴿٩٣﴾
And watch ye!
for I too am watching with you!"
C1595. If the wicked will continue to blaspheme and mock, what can the godly say but this?
"Watch and wait! Allah's Plan works without fail! I have faith, and I too will watch with you for its fulfilment."

Yusuf Ali "And O my people! do whatever ye can: I will do (my part): soon will ye know who it is on whom descends the Penalty of ignominy and who is a liar! And watch ye! for I too am watching with you!"
Pickthall And, O my people! Act according to your power, lo, I (too) am acting. Ye will soon know on whom there cometh a doom that will abase him, and who it is that lieth. And watch! Lo! I am watcher with you.
Yuksel "My people, continue to act as you do, and I will act. You will then come to know to whom the humiliating retribution will come and who is the liar. Watch then, and I will watch with you."
Transliteration Wa ya_ qaumi-'malu_ 'ala_ maka_natikum inni 'a_mil(un), saufa ta'lamu_n(a), may ya'tihi 'aza_buy yukhzihi wa man huwa ka_zib(un), wa-rtaqibu_ inni ma'akum raqib(un).
