وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتَابَ...

57:26.   And We sent Noah and Abraham, and established in their line Prophethood and Revelation:

...فَمِنْهُم مُّهْتَدٍ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ ﴿٢٦﴾

and some of them were on right guidance, but many of them became rebellious transgressors.

C5319. Some of them: i.e., of their line, or posterity, or Ummah. When the Book that was given to them became corrupted, many of them followed their own fancies and became transgressors.

57:26 And, indeed, [to the same end 45 ] We sent forth Noah and Abraham [as Our message-bearers], and established prophethood and revelation among their descendants; and some of them were on the right way, but many were iniquitous.

Yuksel’s version

57:26 We had sent Noah and Abraham, and We placed in their progeny the prophethood and the book. Some of them were guided, while many were wicked.
