16. Sura al-Nahl

The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:

خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ...   

16: 3.     He has created the heavens and the earth for just ends:

C2021. Not for sport, or fortuitously and without Design.

Cf. 15:85.

Surely the Unity of Design in Creation also proves the Unity of Allah their Creator.

... تَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ﴿٣﴾

far is He above having the partners they ascribe to Him!

Transliteration Khalaqas sama_wa_ti wal arda bil haqq(i), ta'a_la_ 'amma_ yusyriku_n(a).

Asad He has created the heavens and the earth in accordance with [an inner] truth; sublimely exalted is He above anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity!

Pickthall He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He exalted above all that they associate (with Him).
