4. Sura an-Nisa

Medina 92 [Hijra 4]

The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:

اللّهُ لا إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ ...

4: 87.  Allah! there is no god but He:

... لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ...  

of a surety He will gather you together against the Day of Judgment, about which there is no doubt.

... وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ اللّهِ حَدِيثًا ﴿٨٧﴾

And whose word can be truer than Allah's?

Alla_hu la_ ila_ha illa_ huw(a), layajma'annakum ila_ yaumil qiya_mati la_ raiba fih(i), wa man asdaqu minalla_hi hadisa_(n).

Pickthall’s Version:

4: 87

Pickthall Allah! There is no God save Him. He gathereth you all unto a Day of Resurrection whereof there is no doubt. Who is more true in statement than Allah?
